VELVET UNDERGROUND – MC5 at Boston Tea Party , DEC 12-13-14 1968. Original artwork on light card, red crayon, pencil, black ink, marker, paper tape. It has a Moe Tucker signature in red pen added & sticked on it (on the left , over “Moe cartoon”). It has also been signed by the manager of the MC5 and inscribed by him. Kick out the Jams Motherfers! John Sinclair in pencil. This was actually the concert when J. Sinclair made the declaration that is on the bk cover of their LP. Lou Reed before their set declared that they had nothing to do with that stuff. The artwork was acquired in the mid 80s at the Austin record fair. It has been framed in my office for over 30 years.
