Rare and hard to find. Pink Floyd’s “Live at Pompeii” was originally released in 1972. “Live at Pompeii” is a concert film directed by Adrian Maben, featuring Pink Floyd performing in the ancient Roman amphitheater in Pompeii, Italy. The main footage was filmed over four days in October 1971, without an audience, using the band’s touring equipment. Additional studio footage was added for the original 1972 release. Subsequent Versions and Re-releases. The film was re-released with additional studio material and interviews at Abbey Road Studios, extending the runtime. A director’s cut was released on DVD, incorporating CGI effects and rearranged sequences. Blu-ray edition re-arranged the 2003 version’s song order. A 4K restoration titled Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII was shown in cinemas and released on home media, accompanied by a remixed album of songs and outtakes. The film is notable for its innovative approach of filming a live performance without an audience, influencing many subsequent concert films. The original 1972 release remains the definitive starting point for all later editions.

These posters are very special. When a poster is made, usually some are done with one, maybe two or a few of the colors before doing the full print run. Sometimes a poster is fully printed and then it isn’t cut down to the size it is supposed to be. We have had these for a long time sitting in a dark room in a mylar sleeve which keeps things from discoloring for over a hundred years, we haven’t even touched them until we took the pictures. This one is from a Ali Farka Toure, Ben Harper, Suru and the Shango Drummers at the Fillmore in 1994. 4 x 20 inches. We are here to make people happy, thank you for your business.

You are looking at a super rare concert poster for Tool and The Melvins at the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, MO on 3/8/97. I can not find any information about this poster but I have personally owned it for almost 20 years. This silkscreened print measures 18″ x 24″ and is printed on heavy paper. Very minor edgeware on the upper side of the top left border and some stress wrinkles and ripple marks from being rolled only visable from the back side except for the wrinkle in the first O of TOOL (see pics). This poster has been stored rolled and needs to be flattened or put in a frame. Pics were taken with and without flash.
