And at the SOUND & LIGHT THEATRE, GIZEH, EGYPT – September 14, 15 and 16, 1978. NOT A WORTHLESS REPRODUCTION. Rare 41 year old poster by artist Alton Kelley. First and only printing. Printed before the show in an edition of only 325 copies. VERY HARD TO FIND. This iconic poster was created for what would end up being a cancelled show in London three days following the band’s three historic 1978 Egypt concerts on the Gizeh Plateau. Has some ink/paper loss on face of poster – see pictures (the one with the ruler above the number 22). Various other condition issues that can be seen better in the pictures than my trying to explain. Measures approximately 20″ x 30″. Overall, it is in pretty good shape given the age of the poster.
