This is from the last concert ever at studio 54. Original poster from the famous new york city club named Studio 54. This concert poster was from may 23,1996 from new york’s Hot dance radio station KTU which is still on the air. The concert was titled ” Last Dance ” and it featured so many different artist such as the following, Donna Summer, Grace Jones, Gloria Estefan, Cher, Gloria Gayner, Cover Girls Sweet Sensation Crystal Waters, Billy Ray Martin, Nicki French and so many other artists. This poster is in Mint condition. It’s extremely hard to come by and will make a great addition to any collection. This poster is 18″ x 38″. This Poster was flat stored and never framed, no pinhole extremely sharp corners. This poster has never been displayed. It’s been flat stored for almost 3 decades. A hard to find… Date & venue to be written in white cloud area… The Sons of Champlin… Copy right in left lower corner.. The year of that lp.. “Welcome to the Dance”. Super Champlin guitar playing figure.. Alot like Tom Morris’s Sons posters. 13 x 17 inches. This is printed on.. Water resistant thick gloss paper….. Top and bottom center. With dirt and wear on 1/3 of back.. I have only seen this one. Looking for Sons stuff….

This Listing is for an Original Vintage First Printing 1967 Music Poster of the Sausalito Dance Concert featuring Moby Grape and Big Brother & the Holding Co. The Poster was published in 1967 by Portal Publications Ltd. Up-and-coming star Janis Joplin and her band Big Brother and the Holding Company were the opening act. Within a year Janis would be a Rock Superstar. The Poster measures 16″ x 22″ inches. This Poster has been kept for over 50 Years in Excellent Condition by our Clients. However, there are some very minor condition issues that were present when they originally acquired it. The Top Right Corner has a crease and a slight bend in the material (see Listing Pic #4). And there is some slight edge wear on all four corners (see Listing pics #3, #5 & #6). Of the poster which would be typical of Vintage Era Artifacts. But that’s it! Overall, this poster has Sharp Details and Vivid Colors as if it was printed a few years ago. Rather than over 50 years ago! Let us know if you have any questions.

Original 1966 Sparta Graphics Christmas Dance Concert Poster. This is among the first posters designed and illustrated by Jim Michaelson. Dave Schiller was the founder and owner of Sparta Graphics and commissioned Michaelson to design this poster which announces a dance concert featuring performances by Syndicate of Sound, Chocolate Watchband, and Jaguars People at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. The poster is 17 x 22 inches printed on heavy stock. There are no pieces of the poster missing, but it does have creases and folds where the white of the paper shows through as thin lines. It could be retored relatively easily to appear almost like new. I would rank it as fair condition, but not bad for a piece of paper that is 57 years old. I was fortunate to personally know Dave Schiller and Jim Michaelson. Sadly they both passed away, but these posters are a great testament and legacy of a fantastic era for music across the great 1960s. This is not a reproduction. It is the original poster printed over 50 years ago. It is among a precious few that exist in the world. Once they are gone, they will never be available again unless an owner of original posters my age (68 years old) decides to part with them.

Grateful Dead’s ” A Swell Dance” Concert Item which took place at the Nasseau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York This tour took place between Grateful Dead’s tour of Europe in early 1972 and their release of “Wake of the Flood” (November, 1973). The art work and desgin of this Item was created by David Byrd. This is the Thalo-Aqua Blue background Item that I personally acquired at the concert in Nassau on March 15, 1973 which measures 24″x 36″. It Measures 24″ X 36″. It is in Near Mint to Mint Condition (C9- C10). We grade our items according to the Iguide Universal 10-Point Grading Scale. C10 Mint – Investment quality. No perceptible flaws of any kind. C9 Near Mint – Investment quality. Minor flaw on an otherwise unused item. C8 Excellent – Investment quality. A few minor defects. Pin holes, small tears, etc. C7 Very Good to Excellent – Fine. Still a very nicely preserved item. C6 Very Good – The typical used item in average condition. C5 Good to Very Good – A heavily-worn item. C4 Good – Below average but still suitable for display. C3 Fair – Heavily worn, but yet still complete. C2 Poor to Fair – An extremely worn, possibly even incomplete item. C1 Poor – The lowest grade, representing items in the lowest possible condition. I also have the Thalo-Aqua Green backround that I acquired prior to the 1973 concert That were released before the concert and is on very thin stock and measures 25″ x 38″ both are Very Rare 1973 posters. If you look at the back on both of these you can see we’re the ink has settled through the back of the item over the last 48 years. It is Not a Reprinted Giclee Print nor Ink Jet Print. If you look with a loop you can see it is an offset lithograph similar to the pre- concert Item that is also an offset litho I both are 48 years old you can see on the back were the ink has settled with age browning on the edges. There is a new reprint that was printed in 2008. That reprint measures 20 3/8″ x 30 7/8″ this is definitely not that that one. Kept Flat, in a Smoke, Dust, and UV Light Free storage facility for over 48 years that has allowed the Colors to retain their Brilliancy without fading. Double tubing would cost extra, but we provide it free for our customers. Customer comments have shown they truly appreciate this free extra care. When You receive your item, There will be an inner tube inside the outer tube. Please unwrap the outer wrapping on the inner tube. The Item is rolled onto the inner tube NOT inside the inner tube.
