Original vintage concert poster for Patsy Cline appearing live at the Grand Theater in Jackson, Tennessee on Friday, November 16, 1962. Measures approximately 22 x 14 inches. Printed on heavier cardstock/poster board. Features period photograph and mentions special guests Hawkshaw Hawkins and Cowboy Copas. Condition: Vintage condition with edge wear, corner wear, creasing, and minor surface marks consistent with age. Pencil notation on back. Please review photos carefully. The poster is in very good original condition and was actually used at the MGM casino/hotel to promote the event. There is a small cut out on the side to accommodate the locking mechanism inside of the light box it was displayed in. The poster measures 35″ x 53″. I have never seen another one of these offered for sale. Unlike movie posters which are printed in the tens of thousands and sent out across the country this would have been 1 of about 3 or 4 that were produced to promote this event within the hotel/casino and only for a short time.

This interesting poster is from a Grateful Dead show at Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids Michigan, their motto back then was “free the mind, grow the soul, change the world”. Tickets were 2 dollars and barely any posters survived. About 25 years ago this official reproduction was done. This is not something someone made themselves, it’s approved content. 5,000 were done and this one was hand numbered in the bottom left corner. It’s on very nice paper and is in dead mint condition. 14 x 27 inches. On the top right it refers to them as “San Francisco’s Grateful Dead”! We are here to make people happy, thank you for your business.

(1952) Vintage original cardboard boxing style poster screen-printed on heavy stock paper and measuring 13.75 x 21.75 in. Concert posters like this were printed in small quantities and displayed in shop windows or on the street. Exhibiting horizontal and vertical creases. In vintage very good condition.
