HUGE & RARE vintage punk rock poster: BUTTHOLE SURFERS and Ed Hall at the MOORE THEATER on MAY 11TH; presented by Monqui, so must be the Moore in Seattle; small text at lower-right says “CRASH”; you can find smaller versions of this poster online, which say that the artist was MIKE KING, and the date was MAY OF 1991; awesome 1960’s TV BATMAN & BATGIRL graphics. Measures 34×52.75 inches – posters this size are often called “subway posters”, but not sure if this qualifies for that term (no subway in Seattle, for one thing), but either way I can’t find even one other this size mentioned in 20+ years of completed online auctions. Condition is GOOD/ACCEPTABLE: has been laminated; large tears and holes/chips at all corners, plus a large chip to right edge and a 1-inch hole a few inches beneath that; wrinkling from rolling and age and storage; large area of multiple puncture holes in area of Batman’s right shoulder, and some more scattered around but nothing else nearly as heavy as that area. This vintage 1987 psychedelic furs, the call, colby, punk boxing style concert poster is a rare and unique piece of music memorabilia from the music industry. Measures approximately 22 in. Provenance: From a Private West Coast collection. All of these posters have been collected by a single man, my father, that went to every show personally! He spent multiple decades going to concerts in LA and surrounding areas, collecting posters, autographs, and other important memorabilia that is so very hard to find now! All posters are guaranteed original printings with NO reprints, facsimiles, or copies. These posters were hand plucked by my father from telephone poles, sides of the venue the bands played and pretty much any place they put them up. These cardboard posters were not something that people thought about keeping, most would be torn down, washed away with the rain or just destroyed and nobody thought twice. Nobody thought that one day they would be part of music history! This poster is in a beautifuly simple, quality glass front frame and it is ready to be hung! It measures approximately 11″ x 8.5″. There are pin holes in the corners from being hung on a wall. It shows wear, creases, and is discolored. DESCRIPTION and CONDITION OF ITEMS. I used to live in Southern Oregon (Ashland) and picked this up somewhere along the way. It’s on thick cardboard. As seen there are some wrinkles, small tears on the edges, and a little staining in spots. But overall, really great condition. Just enough patina for an original while maintaining structure and legibility. It would look rad framed. Measures 14″ by 22″.

This is a RARE Frank Kozik Iggy Pop silkscreen concert poster. Only 475 of these were made and this is signed and numbered 431/475 by the artist. This poster promoted a show at the Continental in New York City on Jan. 13th 1993 and featured the bands Iggy Pop, D-Generation, Feel Fuzzy and Sea Monster. This poster is number 9302 in the Kozik Series. This poster is Large, measures approx. 22.5″ x 35″ and is in excellent condition but does have a few minor issues. It has a light crease dogear on the lower right corner, a light crease on the border top left and some other very minor imperfections (see pics), all of these would matte out if the poster was framed and it would look beautiful, the artwork is perfect.
