Exceedingly scarce and highly collectible large original double-sided first printing concert handbill advertising. Welfare Pension Hall in Tokyo [Japan] on 19th, 20th & 22nd June, 1973. The Tokyo concerts were part of Miles’ June/July 1973 Japanese tour in support of. A studio album, produced by Teo Macero and released on 11th October, 1972 by Columbia Records. The band for the tour featured. Dave Liebman (ss, ts, fl); Pete Cosey (g, perc); Reggie Lucas (g); Michael Henderson (el-b); Al Foster (d); and James Mtume Forman (cga, perc). Never seen another one of these. The handbill measures 18.0 x 25.7 cm approx. 7.1″ by 10.1″ inches and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. A rare original concert poster that was used to promote The Beatles performances at Nippon Budokan Hall, Tokyo, Japan. The Beatles played a total of five shows on June 30. The poster measures 77cm x 53cm (30.25 inches x 20.75 inches). It is discoloured and creased in various places. The top corners are missing, there are pin holes on the bottom corners. The poster has a 27cm (10.5 inches) tear running from the right edge into Paul McCartneys image that has been repaired from the reverse with tape. The condition is good. Our Grading System Explained. Mint = As new. Near mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws. Excellent = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade. Large original first printing. Concert handbill advertising legendary PINK FLOYD’s two concerts at the Taiikukan in Tokyo [Japan] on 6th & 7th March, 1972, presented by Universal Orient Promotions. The shows in Tokyo were part of a short Japanese tour during March in support of the Dark Side of the Moon album.
