JOAN BAEZ BOB DYLAN 1964 Original SUPER RARE Silkscreen Concert Poster
This is an authentic original (printed BEFORE the concert) concert poster advertising. JOAN BAEZ with Special Guest (unannounced) BOB DYLAN. Appearing Saturday, September 5, 1964 at the Monterey Fairgrounds in Monterey California It was a benefit concert that Joan gave for Pioneer House. This is an extremely rare item! It is a beautiful silk-screened poster measuring 22 x 30 inches and it is in VG+++ condition, with a tack hole in each corner and a few scattered very light stains and wrinkles. There are a couple of faint horizontal black lines on the left center above Joan’s names that were from the printing process and are in the printing, not from afterwards. Please see photo for accurate image report. Art by Eldon Dedini, a Monterey based artist whose work was published for decades in Esquire, Playboy and The New Yorker magazines. I obtained this poster years ago from his son. I have included with my detailed photographs of this poster a photo that I found on-line of Bob and Joan (who were boyfriend and girlfriend at this time) from the show. I don’t have a print of the photo, just the digital file from the web. Please be aware that this item was originally printed as blank, meaning that there was no venue or ticket info printed in the box at the bottom. The venue and ticket info would then be over printed for the dates and venues on this tour. LED ZEPPELIN Original 1970 DALLAS TEXAS Concert Handbill / Flyer SUPER RARE
THIS IS NOT THE COMMON TARRANT COUNTY TEXAS HANDBILL!! This is a guaranteed authentic original (printed BEFORE the concert) concert handbill / flyer advertising. Appearing March 28, 1970 at the Dallas Memorial Auditorium in Dallas, Texas. The handbill, printed in thin glossy paper. 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. It is in VG+ condition. It has a tack hole in three of the four corners with the one in the upper left being elongated. The very tip of the upper left corner is missing. There are some light wrinkles, not folds, mostly around the edges. Colors are vivid, bright and not faded. This is very rare, not to be mistaken for the pretty common handbill with the similar design for their concert at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth!
