Heres an original (printed before the concert) concert poster advertising: BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS appearing on July 21, 1978 at the Greek Theater at UC Berkeley in California. It measures 12 x 18 inches. And would be Near Mint except that there is a restorable tear on the right edge towards the bottom of Bob hair in the image. See my second photo for a detail of the tear. You are purchasing an original 1952 Carter Sisters concert poster. This poster was from the 1952 Brown County Jamboree, where the Carter Sisters performed with Mother Maybelle and WSM Grand Ol’ Opry. Poster was done on heavy card stock and measures 14″ wide x 22″ high. Poster does have a horizontal and vertical crease across the center and some soiling near top and bottom area. Colors are bright and unfaded. Poster comes professionally framed with a blue distressed wood frame. Framed poster measures 16″ x 24″ and looks outstanding! Framing and matting are in new condition. We are pleased to be able to offer this incredibly scarce, Grateful Dead/ Hells Angels item for sale. This collectible was created to quickly get the word out about a wake for Chocolate George Hendricks. Chocolate George was a beloved figure in the Haight and a highly regarded Hells Angel. He was killed in an accident on Haight Street on August 24th. The longtime association between the Hells Angels and the Grateful Dead goes back to the band’s earliest day. The well-known Motorcycle club staged several events over the years that featured the Dead. The posters and handbills from these occurrences are some of the most desirable and valuable paper Grateful Dead advertisements ever created. This completely original and piece is a real gem; very few of these have survived. This one looks like it was taken out of a binder.
