Rolling Stones 1966 Concert Tour Poster Original Extremely Rare

Guaranteed original, first and only printing of the extremely rare and highly desirable poster for the Rolling Stones 1966 summer concert tour of the USA. Great design using a striking black and white image of the band foreshadowing the beginning of the psychedelic era. Original band line-up including the late Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts. This is the first year that the Stones issued a poster for an entire tour. Vintage Metallica Decatur, IL Concert Poster 5/31/86 Violent Femmes

The concert took place on Saturday May 31st 1986. This is from the Damage Inc tour. The size is 17″ x 11″. The Metallica side is in VG condition. There is very minor wear on the Metallica side from being in storage for 30 years. The Metallica side is glossy. On the opposite side of the poster is a poster for the Violent Femmes from Peony Park in Omaha, Nebraska on June 12th 1986. This side of the poster is not glossy. Any original concert posters from this era are very rare. In less than 4 months later Metallica’s bassist Cliff Burton died in a bus crash. On the Metallica side of the poster there is a crease about 1.5″ long on the top between the letters “E & T. There is also a stain in the letter “E” about the size of a pencil erased head. There are about a half dozen hash marks that go from Kirk’s left foot to the top of the letter “A”in Armored Saint. There is a crease at the top right corner that is 3 long. There are also minor stains on the poster from it being in storage for over 30 years. I have taken pictures of every flaw I can. On the Violent Femmes side there are stains in both the upper left & upper right sides. There is a mark that goes through the face of the guy on the right of the poster.
