Tooth, aka Dale Flattum – Dale Flattum, also sometimes working under the name Who Made Who, is a designer, illustrator and screen printer. He creates posters, art forgeries and other screen printed propaganda under the alias: TOOTH. He works at a design and screen printing studio located in Northeast Minneapolis. Before all this, he pursued a career in music, touring the world for over 9 years with the noisy San Francisco rock bands Steel Pole Bath Tub, and Milk Cult. Mastodon is an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in early 2000 and composed of bassist Troy Sanders, guitarists Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher and drummer Brann Dailor. Their musical style features progressive concepts and unique instrumentation. All four members participate in vocals, creating a unique blend of singing styles and voices. Kylesa is an American sludge metal band that was formed in Savannah, Georgia. Their music incorporates experimentalism with sludgy riffs, drop-tuned guitars and elements of psychedelic rock. The group was established in 2001 by the former members of Damad, with the addition of guitar player Laura Pleasants who is from North Carolina. The band has since undergone line up changes; the remaining original members are Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants. In 2006, the band added two drummers. Eric Hernandez joined in 2008 to replace Porter. The dual drum tracks are often panned strongly to the right and left. An original signed and numbered poster designed by Tooth for a 2009 Mastodon concert in Minneapolis MN. Curious illustrations including a sagely old mystic and various phases of the moon. It is a hand-pulled screen print and is in excellent condition. It comes from a limited edition of 90 posters and is signed, stamped and numbered by Tooth on the back.
