An original concert poster for the 1970 Holland Pop Festival which took place in Rotterdam on 26. Artists who performed at the event included Pink Floyd, T Rex, The Byrds and Carlos Santana. The poster has been rolled and is printed with a large floral illustration by the psychedelic artist Alan Aldridge. The festival line-up is printed across the bottom. It measures 54.5cm x 84cm (21.5 inches x 33 inches). There is light creasing and wear to the edges and corners. The condition is very good. Our Grading System Explained. Mint = As new. Near mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws. Excellent = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade. This is a guaranteed original (printed before the concert) oversize concert handbill / ticket order-form advertising: THE BEATLES, The Bill Black Combo (who also served as backing band for the other acts opening for The Beatles on the tour), The Exciters, Jackie DeShannon, and the Righteous Brothers (who left the tour after the show in Atlantic City a few days after this show in Red Rocks and were replaced by Clarence “Frogman” Henry). Appearing August 26, 1964 at Re Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colorado. This was the sixth stop on their first full US tour. This extraordinarily rare handbill measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches and is in VG+ condition! There are three small pin / tack holes top center by the word OFFICIAL (see photos) and a 3/8 tear on the left edge by the photo of Boogie Bell.
