This cool, psychedelic poster was designed by Randy Tuten and is designated BG-169-OP-1 in the Eric King Guide. In addition this one has been SIGNED by Randy Tuten in silver paint pen at lower right. Of historical note is that these were the first concerts that The Band played under the name The Band. These were not to be their final performances at Winterland, however. As almost everyone knows, The Band’s retirement concert event, The Last Waltz, was filmed there on November 25, 1976 by Martin Scorsese. It remains one of the greatest concert films ever made.
