Vintage 1980s LA/San Fran Concert Poster Lot Chuck Berry, Bryan Adams Etc

This is a lot of LA and San Francisco area concert posters, believed to date from the 1980s based on collection and research. The story behind this lot: I obtained a large collection of paperwork from someone who was active in the NW music and particularly metal community from the late 70s to early 90s. He collected anything and everything related to this and had access to many bands. This collection encompasses posters, press kits, scrapbook stuff, signed photos and magazine pages, original photographs, tickets, press kits, backstage passes, etc. He also had a few oddball non music items. This lot is from that collection. If the lot has autographs in it they are all presumed to have been obtained in person given his access, but I cannot confirm and unless listed with COAs they are not high profile enough to make them worth the expense of authenticating prior to sale. 1969 The Band Concert Poster Randy Tuten Artist Signed Winterland San Fran BG169. The image is the exact item you will receive. Offered is the original, first printing of the poster created to promote a series of concerts, presented by Bill Graham at Winterland in San Francisco, from April 17-19, 1969. These memorable shows featured performances by The Band, Sons of Champlin and Ace of Cups. This cool, psychedelic poster was designed by Randy Tuten and is designated BG-169-OP-1 in the Eric King Guide. In addition this one has been SIGNED by Randy Tuten in silver paint pen at lower right. Of historical note is that these were the first concerts that The Band played under the name The Band. These were not to be their final performances at Winterland, however. As almost everyone knows, The Band’s retirement concert event, The Last Waltz, was filmed there on November 25, 1976 by Martin Scorsese. It remains one of the greatest concert films ever made. The offered example measures approx. 14×21 and is in sparkling Near Mint condition. Headline Sports has been in business since 1987 and in the same location, near downtown Houston for over 20 years. Chambers Brothers Neon Rose 1967 Concert Poster Litho Matrix San Fran Moscoso

Measuring approximately 14 inches wide by approximately 20 inches in height, this vintage original Chamber Brothers litho was hung for a bit, then stored rolled for decades. There are tiny thumbtack holes at the corners, however once matted and framed, these will be incredibly difficult to see. NOTE: this is not a reprint or a page torn from a book.
