This is an authentic poster which was used to promote a concert featring Electric Flag, Traffic and Steppenwolf! The show took place at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, California on April 6th, 1968. This beautiful poster was printed BEFORE the concert and is a psychedelic gym from the 1960s era! The best part is the condition of the poster. This one is perfect! It still looks like it did when it was printed over 50 years ago! In fact, it’s probably one of the nicest examples in existence! This is an INVESTMENT QUALITY piece with brilliant fluorescent colors! Created by legendary artist and fellow Texan Frank Bettencourt. The poster measures 17″ x 22 1/2″ in size. Many of the posters from this period are quite scarce today due in large part to the small print runs. In addition to small print runs, many of the posters were printed on poor-quality paper that simply fell apart over time. This poster is no exception! It too was printed on thin yellow paper and is a big reason why it’s nearly impossible to find this particular poster in MINT condition! And considering the condition and rarity, we don’t expect this one to last long at that price! Again, this is NOT a reprint or reproduction! This is the ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING concert poster from 1968 which was printed BEFORE the concert!
