The Dorsey Brothers Orchestra during the Great Depression was a whos who of jazz musicians playing around New York City. With a number of no. 1 recordings and at the height of their popularity in the 1930s, Tommy Dorsey decided to start his own orchestra. Both brothers were highly successful on their own, but reunited in 1953. During this time, they played Nebraskas Terrytown Arena on September 15th. A year later, the brothers would host a variety show on CBS called Stage Show , which included Elvis Presleys first national TV appearance. This original poster, measuring 14 1/8 x 21 3/4, is on thick cardboard similar to other boxing style posters. This poster is in remarkable MINT condition, with no pinholes, tears, or creases.
