This is from the last concert ever at studio 54. Original poster from the famous new york city club named Studio 54. This concert poster was from may 23,1996 from new york’s Hot dance radio station KTU which is still on the air. The concert was titled ” Last Dance ” and it featured so many different artist such as the following, Donna Summer, Grace Jones, Gloria Estefan, Cher, Gloria Gayner, Cover Girls Sweet Sensation Crystal Waters, Billy Ray Martin, Nicki French and so many other artists. This poster is in Mint condition. It’s extremely hard to come by and will make a great addition to any collection. This poster is 18″ x 38″. This Poster was flat stored and never framed, no pinhole extremely sharp corners. This poster has never been displayed. It’s been flat stored for almost 3 decades. One of the seminal events in rock history, February 3. 1959, was the Day The Music Died, after the final performances of rock immortals. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens. And Jiles Perry Richardson, Jr. The three stars had joined a touring rock’n roll show known as “The Winter Dance Party” which commenced on January 23. The tour, which also included Buddy Holly’s Crickets and Dion and The Belmonts, gave a memorable concert in the oddly named Surf Ballroom in the small town of Clear Lake, Iowa. Holly, the headliner, sang. Maybe Baby, Peggy Sue, That’ll Be The Day. Valens gave rousing renditions of. Come On Let’s Go. While The Big Bopper contributed his deep-throated hit. After the show, the three icons departed on a small plane in the dead of night for Sioux City, 325 miles to the east. Alas, the small craft froze up and crashed in a corn field. Don McLean later memorialized the tragedy in his smash song. The Smiths Final Concert Poster Brixton 1986 Original Morrissey

Probably one of the most significant pieces of The Smiths memorabilia, an original 1986 concert poster, for the Artists Against Apartheid, movement. Supported by Pete Shelley, of The Buzzcocks. The gig took place at Brixton Academy, London, on the 12th December 1986, in what would turn out to be The Smiths final ever live appearance, before officially disbanding in the summer of 87. The condition is very good, baring some crinkling & few marks on the bottom corners, as pictured, its a more than solid keeper copy, that wont disappoint. You can often tell more about the condition of a poster, by looking at the back, as shown, pretty clean all over. I would grade as a strong 7/10, verging on an 8/10. Measures 420mm x 600mm.
