Recorded under the guidance of British producer Roy Thomas Baker, this was Journey’s fourth album and the first to feature vocalist Steve Perry and the last with drummer Aynsley Dunbar. The addition of Perry gave the band a more mainstream sound, and helped Journey attain their highest chart success to date.
