We spoke with the artist of this poster and the story behind it was pretty cool. It was Nirvana’s first show at a venue he was designing and printing show posters for. Nobody there had heard their music yet, so they had no idea what to put as a design on the poster. So without having ever heard their music, he designed this, and this was the poster for that show.
