GEORGE THOROGOOD Concert Poster at Armadillo World Headquarters Feb 16, 1980
GEORGE THOROGOOD Concert Poster at Armadillo World Headquarters. Show was on February 16, 1980. A Jim Franklin 1980 poster artwork. I was there and it was a Rocking Great Time. This George Thorogood and The Destroyers with Bugs Henderson Concert Poster from the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas on February 12, 1980 is in pretty, pretty good condition for being 45 years old. It was a great show! Look closely as it does have a small hole in top right as you can see. Other warts as you can see The tape tips on back 4 corners to stick on window. This was printed on a thin (flimsy) paper stock (not typical cardboard paper stock). This Concert Poster from 1980 is a wonderful piece of artwork ready for you to get framed and displayed on your wall. I got this poster off the window (again) of the GM Steakhouse True Greatness! Down on the drag of Guadalupe Street in Austin, Texas the day after this show. Again this concert poster is in Pretty Good Condition for being 45 years old just a few hacks as you can see in the pictures (authentic small hole at the top right area). 1980 Austin Still Rocked Hard – AUSTIN TEXAS MUSIC HISTORY LESSON is Right Here. Poster is 21 3/4. Inches tall by 13 3/4 inches wide. This CONCERT POSTER from 1980 just happens to be a very rare & unusual item. THANK YOU So Much!

Ramones Beat On Cancer concert original 2004 poster Blondie, The Strokes, more
Original, incredibly rare promo poster from the Ramones Beat On Cancer benefit held in NYC on October 8, 2004. One of the most amazing concert lineups in New York history – Blondie, The Strokes and Sonic Youth played full sets, and CJ Ramone, Daniel Rey and the Descendents’ Bill Stevenson performed Ramones classics with a series of guest singers that included Josh Homme, Andrew WK, Tommy Ramone, Joan Jett, Suicide’s Alan Vega. David Johansen and Sean Lennon are listed on the poster but they were both late cancellations. Mickey Leigh hosted the event, which was planned and curated by Arturo Vega. Arturo also designed this poster; I acquired it from him directly at the time. Poster measures 24″ x 36″ and is in fantastic condition, having been stored rolled since the concert. Offset printed on glossy stock. It has never been hung or displayed.
