ORIGINAL and ultra-rare 8.5″ x 14″ poster for an as-of-yet undocumented Pantera midnite show on July 26th, 1986 at Gazzarri’s in Hollywood, California. This was one of three shows played in their “1st LA APPEARANCE” – also their first shows outside of Texas. Currently there is no documentation of this show online. Additional images are of advertisements/listings for this show in BAM music magazine and will also be included. Note that one of these listings misspelled the name “Pantara”. This is NOT A COPY. I personally obtained this poster in late June of 1986 at a music store in Hollywood while grabbing a handful of flyers/posters/adverts for upcoming shows. It has been sitting in my box of music memorabilia since then. Poster features “Diamond” (later “Dimebag”) Darrell and brief vocalist Matt L’Amour, who was with the band for about a month. The only two as-of-yet known/documented shows played in LA in July of 1986 (first appearances in LA and outside of Texas): July 24 1986; Concert at The Troubadour, Los Angeles, CA, USA. W/’Matt L’Amour’ on vocals July 25 1986; Concert at The Whiskey A-Go-Go, Los Angeles, CA, USA. W/’Matt L’Amour’ on vocals. This mini-poster is an ultra rare never-before-seen and likely one-of-a-kind item for any Pantera collector. Condition: Stock paper folded in half horizontally but otherwise in excellent condition.
