Texas Singer Songwriter, Shawn Phillips, who went worldwide in the Seventies with many wonderful albums to his credit, played two great shows in Denton, Texas, and two shows in Fort Worth, Texas from this poster, October 20 and 21, 1974. This poster, 17.5 x 24 inches, has yellowed a bit in the last 50 years, and is signed by the artist, who just turned 81. I photographed him soon after his 81st birthday, and said to him, Happy Birthday, Shawn! His face lit up with a big shit eating grin, and he beamed at me and proclaimed exuberantly, I’m 18!! Still in great form. This rolled poster mailed in 21 heavy duty Kraft cardboard mailing tube to protect and prevent bending damage.

Offering in GOOD CONDITION.. A Vintage Original 1979 PROMOTIONAL CONCERT POSTER for. NTSU North Texas State University – Union Lyceum Theatre. Denton, Texas – November 7, 1979. IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND original 42 year old poster from one of Bill Evans final American performances about a year before his death. Printed in extremely small quantities. Never offered for sale to the public. This poster was used at the time of the concert and was likely glued to a wall somewhere on the NTSU Campus almost forty years ago. Two horizontal creases visible on the front, but really not that bad. Multiple tape pulls and adhesive residue on the back not visible from the front. Would still flatten out and look great under glass in a frame. What you see is what you get. Has been carefully stored in a smoke-free and pet-free environment since I acquired it.
