This was a monumental performance of two American Originals – Bob Dylan and Paul Simon with their respective bands, playing one night only at the Concord Pavilion, June 18th, 1999. Bob Dylan, American Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Poet, Artist, Actor. Filmmaker, Radio Host, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, and Author, has been performing and recording since 1962, has written over 500 songs which have been performed by over 2000 artists, and is still touring and performing at 83 years old. He is an American Icon, who has written and released such classics in the American Songbook as Blowin’ In the Wind, Mr. Tambourine Man, I Shall Be Released, Just Like A Woman, Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door, All Along the Watchtower, and Like a Rolling Stone. On this show he was touring behind his The Very Best of Bob Dylan album, released in 2000. Paul Simon, another prolific American songwriter, was one half of the beloved Folk Duo Simon and Garfunkel who formed in 1957 and was the writer of many Classic American hit songs: Sounds of Silence, The Boxer, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Mrs. Robinson, and Scarborough Fair recorded with partner Art Garfunkel until they parted ways. Simon released 12 solo studio albums since then with many more memorable songs: Slip Slidin’ Away, American Tune, Kodachrome, 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover, Late In the Evening, Graceland, Diamonds On the Soles of Her Shoes, and Still Crazy After All These Years. This poster was for one show at The Concord Pavilion in the year 1999. The poster, 14 x 20 inches, in Like New condition is printed on heavy duty poster stock in full color, and has never been rolled.
